TOUR ITINERARY:

​

Day 0: Ha Noi - Ha Giang (300km)​

​

• Take the limousine from Hanoi to Ha Giang at 4:00 PM - 9:00 AM, or 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

• Check-in your accommodation in Ha Giang City.

 

Day 1: Ha Giang - Trekking - Tam Son (75km)

​

• 9:00 AM: We start from Ha Giang City, following the Mien River. Our first stop is Bac Sum, the starting point of UNESCO Global Geoparks (UGGp) certified by UNESCO.

• Continue to Quan Ba Twin Mountain, 1600m high, one of the iconic stops when we visit Ha Giang. 

• We visit Nam Dam village where the Dao ethnic live, seeing their mud houses.

• We will have lunch in Quan Ba town, and continue the ride to Can Ty Pass.

• After that, we discover Lung Khuy cave. We go hiking 4 to 5 km around 1 to 2 hours to the cave, 2 hours.

• 5:00 PM: We arrive at Tham Ma Pass in the late afternoon and check in homestay at Tham Ma Pass

• 7:00 PM: We enjoy some local food at the homestay.

 

Day 2: Tam Son - Lung Cu - Dong Van (135km)

​

• 8:30 AM: After breakfast, we visit the Hmong King Palace (Opium King Palace).

• 1:00 PM: Lunch at Lung Cu village

• 2:00 PM: We drive to the northernmost area of Vietnam near the south of China (Cực Bắc), to the northernmost area of Vietnam near the south of China, 5km from, Lung Cu National Flagpole (from the top you can view China from afar).

• 4:00 PM: On the way back to Dong Van Town, we’ll stop by Thien Huong ancient village, a beautiful village near the border 

• Viewpoint afternoon - a view of the old French Fortress.

• 5:00 PM: Get on the road back to Dong Van Town, we’ll check in at the hotel in town, and after that, you’ll have a free walk around the Dong Van ancient town.

• 7:00 PM: dinner time (enjoy some local foods & finish the day with a homemade happy drink).

 

Day 3: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Du Gia Village (120km):

​

• 8:30 AM: After having breakfast in the town with the mountain views, we will have a chance to visit Dong Van Central Market in Dong Van. If it’s on Sunday, there’s usually more colorful with the local market fair.

• 9:00 AM: We're back on the roads and out of town.

• 11:30 AM: We continue to the roads of Ma Pi Leng Pass (one of the four most beautiful passes in Vietnam).

• 1:00 PM: Get the lunch in Meo Vac town.

• 2:30 PM: We get back on the road to get to Du Gia village. On the way, we stop at Ngoc Long River from the cave, where we can swim and have a bamboo boat floating around the river. There’s an option for kayak.

• 5:30 PM: arrive at Du Gia village and check in at the Tay people's homestay, resting in a peaceful town.

• 7:00 PM: We will enjoy the family dinner with traditional music.

 

Day 4: Du Gia village - Ha Giang City (120km):

​

• 7:30 AM: Have breakfast at the homestay.

• 8:30 am: Get on the road, and visit Du Gia waterfall.

• 9:30 am: get on the road to Ha Giang city, on the way we pass some beautiful Hmong villages and there are some beautiful stops that we stop for pictures on the way.

• We visit Lung Tam village, where you can see and learn about the ancient way of Hemp weaving from the Hmong people.

• 1:30 PM: get a lunch break in Thai An village.

• 2:30 PM: Hit the road again for 45 km to return to Ha Giang city.

• Please get to the city viewpoint where you can have a panoramic view of the city (get the last beer/coffee with our team after the tour).

• 4:00 PM: We arrive at our Lucky House Ha Giang and say goodbye with cold drinks and beautiful memories from the adventure.

Take the limousine back to Hanoi:

​

• You either pick up one of the limousines to get you back to Hanoi from Ha Giang: at 4:00 PM/ 7:00 PM/ 8:00 PM. It takes 6-7 hours to get to Hanoi.
